See the awards my photos and videos (or other creative work) entries have won in different competitions.
I've pretty much always been a photographer because my dad has been a photography and graphics professor at Pitt State University for most of my life. I would go on photowalks, and I still do, with my dad's college students and just try to take pictures of anything that seemed interesting. Yet with my dad's help, and my experience with taking pictures for my middle and high schools' yearbooks, I've learned how to effectively use the exposure triangle, how to expertly edit photos, and how to apply numerous composition techniques.
In addition, after spontaneously creating a recap video of three different sports that happened on the same day, I decided to implement videography into my repertoire. Now, as a junior in high school, I plan to practice photography and my newfound skill of videography to offer friends, family, and everyone in between the best of both worlds.
